A network for good deeds, proven with a real one.
The product began as crisis response and was deliberately re-founded around good deeds, because a crisis-only queue needs a trusted human watching constantly and no volunteer network should hinge on one person’s vigilance.
- The Brief
The founding insight, written into the record early: this idea lives and dies by the stewards. A queue where every item is urgent by definition makes one volunteer’s attention the single point of failure.
- Diagnosis
Most good deeds are not time-critical, so most of the queue can be handled safely with automation while crisis items always get a human. The pivot solved a structural staffing problem rather than a branding one.
- The Build
01 · Accountability, not liability
Completion is a two-party handshake by mutual code, and reliability feeds a private signal stewards use to calibrate trust. No public score, no gamification, no money on-platform, no open-ended chat.
02 · Privacy by construction, stated in the interface
Locations are fuzzed to an area until a helper commits; phone numbers are never exchanged; personal fields are encrypted at the field level. The app says these things where a user can read them.
03 · Native iOS, one backend
SwiftUI and MapKit on the phone, Sign in with Apple beside Google, APNs push - while the Django and PostGIS backend, steward firewall and audit log serve every client unchanged.

The pilot has not opened to the neighborhood, so every number above the engineering line is unearned. The one that matters - a deed claimed and completed by someone the founder has never met - is the next milestone, and it will be reported whether it comes quickly or slowly.
